October is the end of autumn and the beginning of winter. The plateau is full of dry cold air and high pressure. The precipitation is gradually reduced. If your are planning to see the Everest sunrise in the morning, you need to get up very early to travel from the town of tingri to Mount Everest.

Daytime average temperature: Above 10°C, warm clothes such as outdoor fleece jackets, down jackets, windbreakers, sweaters, warm pullovers, etc. are recommended.

Nighttime average temperature: below 0°C(may snow & rain), winter clothes such as winter coats, leather jackets, windproof jackets, down jackets, s scarves, hats, gloves, sunglasses, masks, etc. are recommended.
