Guandi Temple

Guandi Temple represents the loyalty, courage and righteousness of Guan Yu–a famous general in the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period (AD 220-280). It is very small. It takes less than half an hour to visit there.

There stands the statues of Guanyu and his brotherhood Zhangfei. A lot of local people come there to have their fortunes told before making any big decisions.

Address: on the top of Mopan Mountain, Chengguan District, Lhasa City

Cost: 10 yuan / person

Opening hours: 9:00-16:00

Arrival: Take bus No.6, 16, 17, 25, 26 and get off at the Gongdelin station.
